This item is most often used to split the signal from a satellite dish to allow a second receiver to be connected, it is also useful to allow a second cable TV box to be connected.
The DC power pass makes this item suitable for splitting an aerial down line which is carrying power to a masthead amplifier.
All connections should be made using F Plugs which are also available.
This unit is designed for indoor use, if fitting outside please ensure a suitable waterproof enclosure is provided.
